MY PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE CHURCH
- INTRODUCTION
- Rom. 14:12. 1 must give account of myself unto God. Others cannot
do my work for me. Like a watch, each part, however small, must do
its work, and do it well
- We do not all have the same ability. Matt. 25:14, 15.
- Our bodies and spirits belong to God. 1 Cor. 6:19, 20.
- MY PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY HAS BEEN CLEARLY ILLUSTRATED BY THE LORD.
- I am a branch in Christ the wins. Jno. 15:1-8. I cannot get by on
the fact that the other branches are fruitful.
- I am a stone in the building. I cannot get by on the fact that the
other stones fit into their places and do their work well in
supporting the building. I Pet. 2:5; 1 Tim. 3:15.
- I am a candle on the candlestick and must personally shins.

- I have been given one or more talents and must we them to the best of

What would its attendance be? How many would be absent?
- What would the contribution best Dent. 16:16, 17;

- What would tho influence of the church be? Would it be like leaven?

Would it have the influence of salt? Matt. 5:13, 14.
What of its home influence? I Cor. 7:14-16.
What be its saving influence? Prov. 11:30.
- What would be its reputation? Acts 2:47. Favor with all people?
- What would its spiritual strength be? Eph. 6:10;
1 Cor. 16:13; Acts 20:32.
- What would the growth of the church be? Acts 2:47. How many
be added? Daily additions?
- What sort of children would our children be in the church -
if all parents were just like me? Eph. 6:4;
Deut. 6:5-9.
- What sort of friendliness would there be if all the members
were just like me? Prov. 18:24.
- How many outsiders would be invited if all the
members were just like me, Isa. 2:3. "Come, let us go..."
- How many visitors would be invited into our services, if all members
were just like me? Heb. 13:1, 2.
- What kind of harmony and peace would there be? I Cor. 1:10;
Rom. 16:17, 18; Eph. 4:3.
- What would our Sunday morning Bible School be? Psa. 122:1;
Rev. 1:10; Psa. 118:22.
