WILL THE GOOD PEOPLE OF ALL CHURCHES BE SAVED

- It is firmly conceded there are morally good people in all churches.
- And few believe all people are going to be saved!
- Let's answer by analyzing the question:
- "WILL"
- Some modem sources appealed to for an answer
- Feeling - Jer. 10:33; Prov. 14:12
- Conscience - Acts 23:1; Heb. 10:22
- Human creeds - Mt. 15:9; Col. 2:20-22
- There is only one source - Jn. 12:48; Mt. 28:18; 2 Tim. 3:16,17; Jn. 15:3; Jn. 17:7
- Nothing can take the place of truth. Prov. 23:23
- Some modem sources appealed to for an answer
- "THE GOOD PEOPLE"
- None are good in the absolute sense. Ecc. 7:20; Rom. 3:23; Isa. 53:6
- Some base salvation on goodness alone.
- Good morally - Acts 10:1,2; Acts 11:14
- Good attitude - Acts 22:3,4; 22:16
- Good religiously - Acts 8:27,28; 35:38
- Good ignorantly - Acts 17:30,31; Rom. 10:1-3
- Good believers - Jn. 1:12,13
- There is more involved than just being good. Heb. 5:8,9
- "OF ALL CHURCHES"
- The question implies plurality and choice - the Bible teaches neither. I Cor. 12:13; Eph. 1:22,23; 4:4; Jn. 17:20,21
- Saved people are all members of the same church. Acts 2:47; 1 Cor. 12:13
- An Examination of a supposed proof text (Jno. 15:1-6)
- Was the church without branches and fruit for first 1500 years of existence?
- Explain what Jesus was talking about.
- "BE SAVED"
- What must be done to be saved? Mt. 28:18; Mk. 16:16; Jno. 20:30,31; Acts 2:38; Rom. 10:9,10; Col. 2:12; Jno. 15:1-8; Rev. 2:10; Jno. 4:24; Jno. 17:17
- You cannot obey these passages in just any church.
- Any principle found in a human church can be found outside of it.
- Therefore if not peculiar to that body - no part of making you a part of it.
- No principle of truth must be forsaken in leaving a human church.
- God's plan includes and excludes (apply)
